DELHI SUBORDINATE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD
Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) is an exam conducting body under the departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi) for DSSSB PGT Engineering Drawing and various other posts. Its objective is to recruit suitable candidates for the Group “B” and Group “C” categories of posts, both Teaching and Non-teaching.
The Board has been incorporated with the purpose of recruiting capable, competent, highly skilled individuals by conducting written tests, professional tests and personal interviews wherever as desired. The Board shall hereby committed to develop selection and recruitment procedures that confirm to the global standards in testing, and promise selections by all fair means, of the most competent, capable, and skilled individuals for user departments.

PGT ENGINEERING DRAWING:
DSSSB PGT Engineering Drawing post was advertised by DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board) in year 2014 via advertisement number 01/14 under the post code 185/14. Details of which are provided below.
Essential Qualification:
i) Essential and other qualifications required for the direct recruitment for PGT (POST GRADUATE TEACHER) ENGINEERING DRAWING are as under:-
Any one of the following:
i) Master’s Degree in Drawing & Painting with a recognized Diploma/ Certificate of minimum one year’s duration provided the person has studied Geometrical and mechanical drawing in his course.
ii) Graduate in engineering (preferably Mechanical) from a recognized University or Institute established by Law or equivalent Degree.
iii) Graduate in Architecture from a recognized university or institute established by law provided he had offered Geometrical & Mechanical Drawings as one of the subjects in Higher Secondary for equivalent course.
iv) B.Tech. Education degree from Regional College of Education.
v) Graduate from a recognized University with one of the following possessing Drawing Teacher Diploma/ Certificate provided he has studied Geometrical & Mechanical Drawing in the graduation and / or Drawing Teacher Diploma Certificate:
a) Three years full time Diploma course ( or Five years part time of the Art Department of the erstwhile Delhi Polytechnic) provide he had taken up the refresher course in Delhi Polytechnic Delhi.
b) Four years Art Master’s Course from the Govt. school of Art, Chandigarh, Punjab.
c) Holders of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (three years course) from any State Board or Technical education. Note*: High School, for existing teachers with Five years full time Diploma when High School was required qualification for entrances in diploma course.
a) Essential:
1. Master’s degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University.
2. Degree/ Diploma in training/ Education. “Qualification mentioned at S. No. 2 above relaxable in the case of candidates”:
i) Having obtained PhD. Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University/ Institute; or
ii) Having obtained First Division in Higher secondary, Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the mandatory condition that the candidate will acquire the B.Ed. / B.T. qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service.
b) 03 years experience of teaching in a College/ Higher Secondary School/ High School in the subject concerned.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-
Age Limit:
Below 36 years (relaxable in case of Widows, Deserted wives, Govt. servants and those teaching in Universities.
