DELHI SUBORDINATE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD
Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) is an exam conducting body under the departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi) for DSSSB PGT Geography and various other posts. Its objective is to recruit suitable candidates for the Group “B” and Group “C” categories of posts, both Teaching and Non-teaching.
The Board has been incorporated with the purpose of recruiting capable, competent, highly skilled individuals by conducting written tests, professional tests and personal interviews wherever as desired. The Board shall hereby committed to develop selection and recruitment procedures that confirm to the global standards in testing, and promise selections by all fair means, of the most competent, capable, and skilled individuals for user departments.

Essential Qualification:
i) Essential and other qualifications required for the direct recruitment for PGT (POST GRADUATE TEACHER) GEOGRAPHY are as under :-
a) Essential:
1. Master’s degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University.
2. Degree/ Diploma in training/ Education. “Qualification mentioned at S. No. 2 above relaxable in the case of candidates”: i) Having obtained PhD. Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University/ Institute; or ii) Having obtained First Division in Higher secondary, Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the mandatory condition that the candidate will acquire the B.Ed. / B.T. qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service.
b) 03 years experience of teaching in a College/ Higher Secondary School/ High School in the subject concerned.
Pay Scale:
Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4800/-
Age Limit:
Below 36 years (relaxable in case of Widows, Deserted wives, Govt. servants and those teaching in Universities.
