DELHI SUBORDINATE SERVICES SELECTION BOARD
Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) is an exam conducting body under the departments of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi) for PGT Music and various other posts. Its objective is to recruit suitable candidates for the Group “B” and Group “C” categories of posts, both Teaching and Non-teaching.
The Board has been incorporated with the purpose of recruiting capable, competent, highly skilled individuals by conducting written tests, professional tests and personal interviews wherever as desired. The Board shall hereby committed to develop selection and recruitment procedures that confirm to the global standards in testing, and promise selections by all fair means, of the most competent, capable, and skilled individuals for user departments.
PREVIOUS YEAR QUESTION PAPERS:
Previous year question papers are very important and helpful while preparing for a competitive exam to assess the pattern and difficulty level of the examination. These papers are very frequently used as a mock test to get into groove and also for checking the progress of the preparation of the aspirants. We are providing previous year question papers for DSSSB exams here, through which aspirants can analyze and prepare their strategy for the preparation and selection in DSSSB exam.
PGT MUSIC (TIER II):
PGT Music post was advertised in year 2014 via advertisement number 02/12 under the post code 143/12 and 144/12. Details of which are provided below.
Essential Qualification :
1. Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University.
2. Degree/Diploma in training/Education.
“Qualification mentioned at S.No.2 above relaxable in the case of candidates”.
(i) Having obtained Ph D. Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University/ Institution; or
ii) Having obtained First Division in Higher Secondary Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the mandatory conditions that the candidate with acquire the B.Ed/B.T. qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service Desirable : 3 years, experience of teaching in a College/Higher Secondary School/High School in the subject concerned.
M.A.(Music) or M.(Music) of any recognized University.
or
Sangeet Alankar (M.Music) from All India Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai -08 years. or
Sangeet Kovid (M.Music) the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Kheragarh – 8 years
or
Sangeet Nipun (M.Music) the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad – 8 years
or
Sangeet Nipun (M.Music) the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow – 7 years
or
Any degree which may be considered recognized by the body constituted by the University concerned.
For the teachers recruited before 31st March, 1974. (Class II)
(i) Sangeet Visharad Examination of the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai.
(ii) Sangeet Vid. Examination of the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Kehragarh (M.P.)
(iii) The Sangeet Prabhakar Examination of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti 9 Academy of Music) Allohabad.
(iv) Sangeet Visharad Examination of Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow (Previously Morris College of Hindustani Music, Lucknow)
(v) Final Examination of the Madhava Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Lashkar, Gwalior.
(vi) Highest Examination of Baroda State School of Music.
(vii) the final Examination of Shankar Gandharwa Vidyalaya, Gwalior.
(viii) Sangeet Ratna Diploma awarded by the Director, Deptt. of Education, M.P.
or
The new diploma/degree awarded by the concerned Institutions/agencies in lieu thereof. In addition to the above at least 10 years experience of teaching music to Higher secondary Classes in the number School of Board.
Pay Scale:
s. 9300 – 34800 + GP Rs. 4800/-; Group: ‘B’ Non Gazetted, Non Ministerial.
Probation Period:
2 year;
Age Limit:
Below 36 years & relaxable in case of Govt. Servant and departmental candidates up to 05 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government. This post is identified as suitable for OH/VH persons only as per the Requisition of the User Department.
